Common Questions
How much does a curved stairlift cost?
Prices for curved stairlifts can vary depending on user requirements, new or used, and much more.
Does the price include installation?
Of course, our stair lifts include professional installation and a long warranty.
How much notice is needed before installation?
Once one of our engineers has called to your home and you have received your Quotation, it will be up to you when you decide if you would like to go ahead with the order. What happens then is that we will call and complete a full survey of your stairs, taking all the necessary measurements and photographs required in order for your stairlift to be designed for your stairs. A curved stairlift will usually take up to 4 weeks from the date of order to be completed and shipped to us.
Will there be a mess?
All the work carried out by our stairlift engineers will be done to the absolute highest of standards. This includes our engineers tidying up after themselves and even hoovering up so your home will be as clean as it was when they walked in.
How long does it take to install?
The length of time would always depend on the number of sections the rail is made up from. For example, a straight rail with a single 90-degree bend in it would usually take two and a half hours to fit whereas a rail consisting of a series of bends could take 3-4 hours.
What’s the cost of electricity?
The average stairlift will only cost you between €20 and €30 euro annually to have on charge. Our stairlifts operate on battery power and only require electricity to recharge the batteries to 100%. Once the batteries have reached full charge it will then reduce the voltage to a trickle charge just to help maintain the full charge.
